Terms & Conditions

Last updated: January 2025. These terms apply to all services provided by vSource. By availing our services, you agree to the following.

1. Services

vSource provides laptop and desktop repair, chip-level motherboard repair, CCTV installation, server solutions, laptop and desktop sales, and AMC services. Service timelines are estimates and may vary depending on complexity, parts availability and diagnosis findings.

2. Repair Policy

  • Devices may be repaired using compatible, genuine or quality-tested parts as appropriate for the repair.
  • Data loss may occur during repair. Customers must take a complete backup before submitting any device for service.
  • vSource is not responsible for any data loss occurring during or after repair work.
  • Verbal quotes are approximate and subject to change after full inspection and diagnosis.
  • Written quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.

3. Warranty

  • 30-day service warranty on labour and replaced components (excluding software-related issues).
  • No warranty on physical damage, liquid damage, misuse or customer-induced damage after service.
  • Hardware components carry manufacturer warranty where applicable.
  • Sales of refurbished devices carry a separate warranty as communicated at time of purchase.

4. Payments

  • Payment is due on completion of service and before device collection.
  • Credit terms are not offered unless specifically agreed in writing.
  • A service/diagnostic charge may apply even if the customer declines repair after diagnosis. This will be communicated upfront.

5. No Fix – No Fee

If vSource is unable to diagnose or provide a repair solution for your device, no service charge will apply. This guarantee applies to all repair work and has been our policy since 2000. This does not apply to cases where the customer declines an available repair solution.

6. Same Day Service

Same-day service is subject to technician availability, diagnosis complexity and parts availability. It is offered as best-effort and is not guaranteed for all repair types.

7. Liability

vSource is not liable for: data loss or software corruption; business loss or downtime; indirect or consequential damages; pre-existing hardware conditions not related to the repair performed.

8. Customer Responsibility

  • Ensure complete data backup before submitting device for service
  • Provide correct device access credentials and passwords as required
  • Confirm legal ownership of the device being submitted
  • Collect repaired device within 30 days

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
